Polly Finn Architecture is seeking an Architectural Assistant to work directly with the owner on all aspects of highly detailed residential projects. Responsibilities include creating presentation drawings, 3D models, renderings, construction documents, and coordinating specifications. We create distinctive homes for discerning clients, placing importance on function, aesthetics, and quality of materials and construction. Join our small team for a fulfilling experience and flexible schedule. The position is 20-30 hours/ week, 1-2 days/ week in our Greensboro studio or as needed for collaboration or site visits; other time may be remote. This is a contract position with potential to advance to a salaried Project Manager role.
- Must possess a willingness to learn and contribute ideas, grow creatively, and develop efficient practices.
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or interior design
- Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.
Skilled in:
- Hand drafting
- AutoCAD or Revit (we use Vectorworks which is similar, no experience in this program required)
- SketchUp and Enscape
- Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.
- Microsoft Word and Excel
