There are still two months left of summer, but the design world is slowly starting to turn its attention to fall. From charcoal gray tile to washable wool rugs, here are some of our favorite launches from the past week.

British paint brand Mylands tapped Beata Heuman to curate The Dependables collection. Available through Eagle Paint, the debut offers a trustworthy palette of 24 time-honored hues—including ones the London designer employed in her own home—ranging from the slightly gray Beata White to the rusty red Crayfish Party and the teal blue Stockholm.

New York–based commercial textile brand LebaTex released the eco-conscious Tidal collection. Woven in yarns composed of salvaged marine plastics, the line features six ocean-inspired performance fabrics in multiple colorways, such as the honeycomb-esque Breakers and the herringbone Coastline.

Fable Home added two fresh hues into its palette of handwoven, washable rugs. Available in four distinct dimensions—including a new extra-large size—the Vancouver brand’s pure New Zealand wool carpets are now offered in rich, earthy Forest Green and soothing, steel-colored Seaside Blue.

Pennsylvania–based design firm Bergman Vass debuted its first furniture collection. Punctuated by touchable materials and sculptural silhouettes, head-turners from the eight-piece line include the mappa burl wood Roman side table; the crackle plaster-coated Esme entry table; the tooled walnut August armoire; and Primrose, a hexagonal nightstand crafted in plain sawn white oak.

Meredith Ellis Textiles unveiled the Botanical collection. Available through the James showroom, the series draws inspiration from the designer’s Texas upbringing and boasts eight contemporary Americana patterns such as the dizzying Oliver; the stippled Katalina; and the striated Balmorhea.

Italian lighting brand Lodes rolled out its inaugural outdoor collection. In addition to EstudiHac’s woven Stitch lantern and the plant-like Reed, the line introduces three sleek Patrick Norguet creations, including the projector-esque Focus; the mushroom-shaped Kinno; the minimalist Chelsie floor light.
Portuguese porcelain manufacturer Vista Alegre called on Italian automotive design firm Pininfarina to help create its first furniture collection in more than 200 years. The series, named Accento, spans seven stunning pieces inspired by iconic 1950s sportscars; such as a quilted leather-clad armchair, a leather-wrapped coffee table with contrast stitching, and a matte black sideboard with a yellow interior.

Beni Rugs’s second collab with Design Within Reach is an ode to 20th-century Austrian art and architecture. The collection reimagines the works of Josef Hoffmann, Koloman Moser and Otto Prutscher as a trio of Moroccan-artisan made floorcoverings, including the grid-patterned Everest, the checked Manor and the geometric Sebastian.

TileBar’s Slate collection is brimming with textural appeal. Formed from fine layers of clay or volcanic ash, newcomers from the weather-resistant line include the naturally oxidized California Gold; the velvety, oversized Brazilian Black; and India Black, a moody beauty outfitted in an array of charcoal hues and cool tones.

Guatemalan designer Diego Olivero, founder of Meso, teamed up with AllModern and maker-minded e-commerce platform Powered by People on an exclusive collaboration. The host-savvy series offers 16 whimsical wares, with standouts such as the squiggly Freya bar cart and the marble orb-accented Kora ice bucket.
