Desert Design Week • Fall 2025

Desert Design Week returns this October with a citywide celebration of art, design, architecture, and the community that surrounds them. Set across showrooms, studios, and iconic spaces in Scottsdale and Phoenix, the festival transforms the desert into a stage for creativity, connection, and discovery. Guided by this season’s theme, Creative Analog, DDW embraces the handmade, the tactile, and the imperfect — honoring materiality and human design through thoughtfully curated events.

This fall’s program includes:

NIGHT ONE: The Wiseman & Gale Experience — An opening night celebration inside one of Arizona’s most storied design houses, where scent, sound, and heirloom antiques set the stage for connection.

DESIGN NOTES: A conversation with Molly Kidd, Studio SGT, on antiques, quality, and designing with intention – Hosted at Galerie Town

ONE OF:  Ceramics Exhibition at Camelback Flowershop — An exhibition and gathering featuring the ceramics of Nik Nik (Nicole Neu) and Sasha Court, styled among flowers, music, and community.

Tea & Ikebana Experience at The Bodega — A quiet gathering hosted by Amy Williams Design, pairing a curated tea tasting with the Japanese art of floral arrangement.

THE ART MARKET at Local Nomad — A lively Saturday morning art party with collectible works from Perro y Arena and other artists, set to DJ Mitch Freedom’s soundtrack.

DESIGN NOTES: Materiality & Place- The Green Room Landscape Architecture — A conversation with Charlie Ray on how landscapes, materials, and desert ecology shape design.

Kindred at RED Modern — A celebration inside RED Modern’s iconic Ralph Haver building, featuring music, bites, and the unveiling of Jonathan Wayne’s new furniture line “Kindred”

Taliesin West  — Special events in partnership with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, including programs Depth of Field – Exploring Japanese Art’s Influence On Wright and Modernism and Art – Wright, Gustav Klimt, and a Design Revolution

The Collector’s Room — A collaborative edit of fashion and interiors presented by Kaitlyn Wolfe and Newell Vintage, exploring the intersection of style and space.

TABLED at Good Company — A dining gallery of Arizona design, where every plate, textile, and vessel is crafted by local makers and available to collect.

From markets and exhibitions to design talks, dining experiences, and home tours, Desert Design Week is a week-long gathering for those who love design, art, and architecture. DesertDesignWeek.com
