Blueprint Lighting seeks a highly motivated, experienced and results-driven Sales Associate to join our team. This is a client-facing role in our mid-town Manhattan showroom--ideal for someone with an outgoing personality who is highly organized, passionate about modern design, and thrives in a creative environment.
You will guide clients through our product offerings and range of customization options, making suggestions and offering advice as needed--acting more as a trusted partner and less as a vendor. Learning the preferences of your particular clients to adjust the cadence of your follow up is key.
You will generate quotes, set up trade accounts and dialog closely with our Production and Client Care teams. You will diligently follow-up, both proactively and reactively, with clients to achieve sales goals.
Blueprint Lighting began with a high level of customer service in mind--our ethos is "always come from a place of help". Providing exceptional service to new and existing clients is paramount to our success.
Some travel may be required--primarily in the Tri-State area.
-Sales Experience: 2+ years prior experience in mid-range to luxury sales required. Experience within the interior design, fashion, homewares or related industries is a plus.
-Industry Network: An established network of contacts in the interior design and home furnishings field is a plus, but not necessary.
-Sales Tracking: Proficient in managing sales activities, pipelines and closing sales.
-Communication: Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage clients effectively.
-Self-Motivated: Driven to succeed with a proactive approach to achieving goals. A high level of organization is necessary in this role.
-Design Knowledge: Stay updated on current industry trends and market insights. Someone with a working knowledge of modern design would be an ideal candidate. We love a lifelong learner!
-Team Collaboration: Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team atmosphere. We are creative hive!
