About the role:
This is a full-time fully in-person position with no potential to go hybrid or remote. The ideal candidate for this role is independent, flexible, and detail oriented. You will work out of our showroom with our sales & production team, third party delivery agents, and clients to coordinate delivery or pick up of all orders. Independent housing available.
Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities (70%):
Coordinate with in house and third-party delivery agents to arrange all local and long distance deliveries
Schedule deliveries with receivers and clients
Keep clients updated on delivery status
Coordinate with clients to facilitate client pick ups
Develop and maintain relationships with third party delivery agents
Inspect and document the condition of all items getting picked up and delivered
Field all delivery questions / issues / damages / claims
Set delivery prices and maintain logistics P+L
Organize and file all logistics paperwork
Follow up with clients post delivery
Production Assistant Responsibilities (30%):
Attend weekly production meetings
Inspect all completed items for quality assurance
Tag completed and in process items
Coordinate with independent contractors
Potential to become more involved in production
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree preferred
1 year of logistics and/or production experience preferred
Strong phone and email communication skills
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:30-5
