MOGUL seeks a seasoned Outside Sales Executive with a large, active client book and direct, ongoing relationships with interior designers, architects, and high-net-worth clients in the Orange County area. While Los Angeles and Orange County are our primary focus, we are also open to exceptional candidates based in other key design hubs such as Dallas, Miami, or Palm Beach.
This is a commission-only role for a proven closer—not a training position.
You’ll introduce a portfolio that sells itself to the right network: exclusive representation of R&Y Augousti, Kifu Paris, and Barberini & Gunnell; a tremendous catalogue of one-of-a-kind Murano chandeliers and glass; and collectible works by Martin Blank and Peter Bremers. Every piece can be customized (scale, finish, material), and we maintain significant in-stock accessories and furniture for immediate installs.
Responsibilities:
1) Open doors & deepen ties: Book curated presentations with top design firms and qualified private clients.
2) Sell the bespoke: Guide teams through customization (finishes, proportions, approvals, timelines) and secure deposits.
3) Drive fast wins: Leverage MOGUL’s in-stock accessories/furniture for immediate conversions.
4) Own the deal cycle: From first presentation through fulfillment, coordinate quotes, samples/memo kits, and documentation with precision.
5) Represent the brand: Uphold MOGUL’s standards of discretion, polish, and service in every interaction.
The ideal candidate will:
1) Have an active book of business with interior designers, architects, and high-net-worth end users (non-negotiable).
2) Have 3–5 years or more of experience in the design industry, with a focus on luxury furnishings, collectible design, or high-end art.
3) Be confident managing customization processes including finishes, materials, approvals, and lead times.
4) Possess the authority, polish, and discretion to represent an exclusive luxury portfolio to senior design principals and private clients.
5) Have the entrepreneurial drive and independence required to excel in a commission-only role.
6) Bring strong organizational and communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
