Adam Hunter Inc., a globally recognized interior design studio based in West Hollywood, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team. We specialize in custom residential and commercial projects across the country, known for bold, sophisticated design and meticulous execution.
The Project Manager will oversee all phases of interior design and architectural projects—from concept through installation—ensuring that design intent is carried through while staying on schedule and within budget.
This role requires exceptional organizational skills, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to anticipate issues before they arise. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, communicates with clarity and diplomacy, and thrives in managing process and systems rather than people.
Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day operations of multiple design projects nationwide
* Oversee timelines, budgets, and deliverables with precision
* Coordinate with design team, contractors, vendors, and fabricators
* Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports
* Proactively identify challenges weeks in advance and troubleshoot to keep projects on track
* Communicate with clients in a professional, solutions-oriented manner—ensuring accountability without placing blame
* Ensure design details and quality standards are executed to the highest level
* Lead client meetings and presentations with clarity and professionalism
* Integrate contingency planning into all phases of project execution
Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in construction, interior design project management, or architectural project management
* PMI Certification or equivalent preferred
* Strong knowledge of design process, construction administration, and FF&E procurement
* Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage complex timelines and competing priorities
* Proactive, forward-thinking mindset with a healthy sense of “productive urgency” to keep projects moving
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, especially in client-facing situations
* Proficiency in Gantt Charts, Asana, Slack, Adobe Creative Suite, and other project management software; familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit a plus
